Soft Floor Fitting
Carpets and backing may have minor variations from that of the sample due to the fact that samples may have been in store for a period of time and faded. New recyclable backings are being introduced on existing carpets.
Carpets and Vinyl purchased from different batches cannot be guaranteed to be of the same shade pattern match.
“Shading” may occur on carpets; this is not a manufacturers fault and a claim cannot be legally made against our company. Please see reverse of sample.
If there is a Pole Mark in the carpet, we are advised by the manufacturers to allow 4 – 6 weeks before raising a complaint, as within this time it should fade. In the event it doesn’t, Eflooring will work with the manufacturer to get this resolved, but will not be responsible to cover the cost of a replacement unless a decision is made to make a good will gesture.
Hard Floor Fittings inc Sub-Floor Preparation:
We will contact you the week prior to your fitting date to arrange the delivery of your materials; typically, these are Monday – Friday, between 9am and 5pm. If this is not suitable, please contact us urgently to make other suitable arrangements.
Due to the sub-floor preparation needed, please clear out as much furniture as possible and make us aware of anything that may be left in the room prior to us arriving.
If you are having a Damp Proof Membrane or Smoothing Compound applied, be aware that this needs time to dry and may make some areas of your home inaccessible.
So we can complete your installation on time please ensure there is sufficient electricity, lighting and heating within your property, especially in the area/s where your new flooring is being installed. This is especially important in the winter months where the drying time of the smoothing compound can significantly increase.
Please be mindful that we are raising the levels of your floor and therefore you may have doors or plinths that need planing. This is not included in our service, so you will need to make alternative arrangements for this.
Installation
All rooms must be cleared and clean prior to the fitter arriving on the premises.
In exceptional circumstances and with prior notification the fitters are prepared to move furniture etc, at the request of the customer and at the customers own risk.

Payment
A 50% deposit is required upon booking, once received we will order your materials. The remainder of the balance is due prior to the delivery of your materials or fitting date (whichever is sooner), unless agreed otherwise. The fitting charge can be found at the bottom of your invoice, this is separate to the invoice amount and is to be paid in cash on completion to the fitter.
Please check all of the details including product, colour and laying pattern are correct and as agreed.
By paying your deposit you are confirming that you have read and understood, therefore agreeing to our terms and conditions.
All goods remain the property of Eflooring until payment is made in full.
